The Remix Collection enthält einige ihrer Hits in langen Versionen, während diese auf “The Singles Collection 1981-1993” nur in normaler Spiellänge enthalten sind. Interessanterweise verwendete man nicht nur einfach die regulären Maxiversionen, sondern kramte auch echte Mixe und Remixe aus dem Archiv. So sind zum ersten Mal auf CD erhältlich der U.S. Remix von “The Second Time”, der Sanjazz Mix von “Never Trust A Stranger” und der Late Night Mix von “Fouzr Letter Word”. Doch weil eine “Best-Of” ohne ihren größten Hit nicht sein darf, lies man einen techno-lastigen Mix von “Kids In America” zu. Das ist aber auch die einzige geschmackliche Entgleisung.

The Remix Collection wird nur in Japan und später noch in Australien offiziell herausgebracht.

The Remix Collection contains some of her  hits in long versions, while “The Singles Collection 1981-1993” contains only the shorter versions. Interesting to see that not only regular extended versions were taken. For the first time ever available on cd are “The Second Time” U.S. Mix, “Never Trust A Stranger” Sanjazz Mix and “Four Letter Word” Late Night Mix. No Best-Of without her biggest hit - they thought. And so there was a techno-style Mix of “Kids In America” used. The only bad taste on this release.

The Remix Collection was only released in Japan and later also in Australia.
