Cambodia / Love Blonde

Im Frühjahr 1993 gelangte EMI ein kleiner Überraschingscoup. Unter der Federführung von EMI Frankreich veröffentlichte man “Love Blonde - The Best Of”. Diese Compilation war mehr oder weniger eine Wiederauflage von “The Very Best Of” (1984). Doch zusätzlich zu den bereits bekannten Songs packte man mit “Watching For Shapes” und den beiden Maxi-Version von “Love Blonde” und “Dancing In The Dark” drei bis dahin unveröffentlichte Songs mit als Bonustracks auf die CD drauf.

Um diese Compilation entsprechend zu promoten gab es zur Überraschung auch eine 2-Track-CD-Single als Promotionmuster.

In spring 1993 EMI France released a regular-priced cmpilation CD called “Love Blonde - The Best Of”. This compilation CD was a re-issue of “The Very Best Of” (1984). EMI added three unreleased songs (B-side “Watching For Shapes” and the extended versions of “Love Blonde” and “Dancing In The Dark”.

To promote this compilation there was a 2 track cd-single released as a promo only.
