Kids In America sollte ursprünglich schon als Remix auf “The Singles Collection 1981-1993” enthalten sein. Doch aus uns unbekannten Gründen kam es anders, und Kids In America wurde daher erst im Mai 1994 als Remix veröffentlicht - in Europa und Süd Afrika nicht aber in England.

Den Remix besorgeten Cappella, die italienischen Dancefloorspezialisten, die zu dieser Zeit mit Hits wie “Move On Baby” oder “U Got 2 Know” nicht nur in den Diskotheken erfolgreich waren. Zum Remix von Kids In America 1994 gab es auch eine 12” DJ Promo, die weitere Dub Mixes enthält. Zur Single wurde auch ein Video produziert - und dieses Mal kam auch etwas ganz ordentliches dabei heraus. Leider schaffte es Kids In America 1994 nicht bis in die Charts.

Kids In America was planned to be included in a remixed version on “The Singles Collection 1981-1993” but for some reasons it wasn´t. The remixed version was later released in 1994 in Europe and South Africa but not in England.

The Remix was done by Italian Dancefloor project Cappella, who had hits like “Move On Baby” or “U Got 2 Let You Know” and were successful in the charts and clubs at that time. A 12” DJ promo of Kids In America 1994 includes additional dub mixes of this son. A video was filmed - definitly not a low budget production. Undfortunatly Kids In America 1994 didn´t enter the charts anywhere.
