Niemand hatte noch daran geglaubt,. dass es nach dem Rausschmiss bei MCA/Universal je wieder eine neue Single von Kim geben könnte. 2001 war es dann soweit:  Loved wurde in Deutschland und Belgien veröffentlicht. Ursprünglich nur als Bonustrack gedacht für die bei EMI veröffentlichte Compilation “The Very Best Of” (2001) , entwickelte sich Loved zumindest in Belgien zu einem Charthit und erreichte dort einen Platz in der Top 10.

2002 dann wurde Loved als Remix erneut veröffentlicht, diesmal gemixt von DJ Pusledriver, der bereits den Kim Wilde Klassiker “Cambodia” gecovert hatte und damit in Deutschland Platz 11 in den Charts verbuchen konnte. Für beide Versionen wurde kein Video produziert - daher auch nicht weiter verwunderlich, dass es dieser Titel nicht höher in die Charts schaffte.

When Kim had to leave MCA/Universal in 1996, got married and pregnant, nobody really believed that she will come back with new material. So in 2001 it was again EMI who released the compilation album “The Very Best Of” with a single release called Loved originally only to included as a bonus track. Loved became a huge chart hit in Belgium and reached Top 10.

In 2002 Loved was released again in a remixed version. Mixed by DJ Pulsedriver, who had a hit with a cover version of “Cambodia” which reached No. 11 in Germany. For both releases there was no video made.
