Kim Wilde startete ihr Comeback mit einer Coverversion ihres eigenen Hits You Came im Original aus dem Jahr 1988. Die 2006er Version wurde vom Nena-Produzenten Jörn-Uwe Fahrenkrog-Petersen neu produziert und klingt jetzt wesentlich rockiger als damals.

Schon vier Wochen vor Verkaufsstart lief die Promotionarbeit auf Hochtouren. Kim war auf einmal wieder interessant und man konnte ihre Bilder in unzähligen Magazinen finden.

Zur Single wurde auch ein Video gedreht. Den langjährigen Fans kommen viele Details aus dem Video auch irgendwie bekannt vor. Das schwarz-weiß gestreiften T-Shirt (Kids In America) genauso wie das Halstuch am Mikrofon (You came) oder den Bilderrahmen (Who Do You Think You Are). Vorab kursierte aber ein sogenanntes geheimes und unoffizielles Video zu You Came 2006 im Internet, bei dem Kim den Song auf dem Bett liegend singt - wohl eher als Appetitanreger und bestimmt kein Skandalvideo á la “Say You Really Want Me”.

There was also a video for the single made. Longtime fans of Kim remember some details e.g. the black&white shirt (Kids in America), the neckerchief around the microphone (You Came) or the frame (Who Do You Think You Are). Before officially released, a so-called secret video of You Came 2006 turned up the internet Kim miming the song on a bed. Dedicated to be an appetizer and definitly not a scandalous video like “Say You Really Want Me”.
